Almost every day we are informed by the media about the climate changes and need to act on these changes. The CO2 produced by Power Plants all over the world as a result of our daily need for electricity (and heat) is one of the Green House Gasses (GHG).
In Canada the SaskPower’s Boundary Dam has the world’s first Carbon Capture and Storage facility up and running since October 2014. This CCS plant is based on the amine-based capture technology also known as Shell-Cansolv’s post-combustion capture technology.
We wish to bring this information to your attention because our partner GEA Ecoflex supplied several heat exchangers for this First-of-a-kind project. In fact, GEAEcoflex was one the primary project vendors.
