Which design codes and standards do heat exchangers comply with?
Our heat exchangers are designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements applicable to the specific application and market.
Depending on the project, heat exchangers can be supplied in accordance with, amongst others:
- PED 2014/68/EU (Pressure Equipment Directive)
- ASME
- EN 13445
- TEMA guidelines
- Material specifications in accordance with EN or ASTM
- API (661, 660, 662, 667)
- ASME U-stamp
- ATEX
For applications in the food, pharmaceutical or chemical industries, additional requirements may apply regarding material certificates, surface finish, cleanability and traceability. During the engineering process, we will work with you to determine which standards and certifications are required.
