Vahterus introduces size 12 Plate & Shell heat exchanger
Vahterus introduces a new type of heat exchanger within the current range. This heat exchanger bridges the gap between the current sizes 9 and 14, completing the product portfolio of Vahterus and Kapp even more. This newcomer is now available.
The PSHE 12 has a plate diameter of 120 centimetres and DN250 ports and a shell with a standard inner diameter of 137 cm. One of the biggest advantages of the size 12 plate is the wide range of applicable materials, such as stainless steel, SMO254, duplex and titanium. Size 12 is available in plate thicknesses of 0.7 – 1.5 mm and has standard pressure classes of 6, 10, 16, 25 and 40 bar. Other design pressures can be made on request.
