To ensure a reliable design, we require a number of process parameters. The more complete this information is, the more accurately we can calculate the optimal heat exchanger.
Key details include:
- Fluid on both sides;
- Flow rate;
- Inlet and outlet temperatures;
- Design and operating pressure;
- Required heat capacity;
- Permissible pressure drop;
- Physical properties of the fluid;
- Fouling factor;
- Available installation space;
- Material preferences and any certification requirements.
To ensure a reliable design, we require a number of process parameters. In practice, customers do not always have all the necessary data to hand. This need not be a problem. Our engineers can often deduce missing information from existing process data, previous designs or on-site measurements. This enables us to arrive at a reliable design nonetheless.
