Kapp becomes part of Addtech and accelerates growth and innovation

Kapp, a specialist in heat transfer, announces that as of 11 February 2026, 90% of the company has been acquired by Addtech, an international technology group delivering high-quality technical solutions for the manufacturing and infrastructure sectors. With this step, Kapp gains a strong, long-term partner that enables further growth and development, both in the Netherlands and internationally.

Kapp, headquartered in Dordrecht (the Netherlands) and founded in 1997 by Tjark de Lange, has developed over nearly 30 years into a leading player in the field of heat transfer. The company serves customers across a wide range of industries and is known for its in-depth technical expertise, customized solutions, and reliable execution from concept through realization.

A strong match in vision and entrepreneurship

Joining Addtech aligns with Kapp’s ambition to further strengthen its market position, innovation capabilities, and customer proposition. Addtech acquires and develops independent companies with a strong culture, entrepreneurial mindset, and focus on creating customer value, such as more efficient processes, innovative solutions, and sustainable technologies.

“With Addtech, we have found a partner that fully shares our vision and gives us the freedom to continue growing as an independent company,” says Tjark de Lange, founder of Kapp. “Together, we can seize new opportunities, further strengthen our technical solutions, and create even more value for our customers, partners, and employees.”

Addtech also views Kapp as a valuable addition to the group.

“Kapp has a strong market position and deep expertise within a technology that drives energy efficiency and sustainability,” says John Åge Lazar, Business Unit Manager, Addtech Process – Emission Control. “We look forward to supporting the management and team in their continued development.”

Continuity and growth for customers and partners

Kapp will continue to operate under its own name as an independent company within Addtech. The management team, led by Jeroen van Ruitenbeek, will remain responsible for day-to-day operations and strategic direction. Customers and partners can continue to rely on the same collaboration, service, and trusted contacts, while Addtech’s involvement brings new opportunities and additional expertise.
