Heat exchangers

Beschrijving

Heat exchangers for optimal process efficiency.

A heat exchanger is a crucial component in industrial installations and thermal processes. The system enables controlled heat transfer between two media without them coming into physical contact with one another. This allows available heat to be efficiently reused within the process. Examples include recovering waste heat from industrial processes, ventilation air or hot water.

Heat exchangers are widely used in sectors such as the process industry, HVAC systems, energy systems, district heating networks and manufacturing environments.

By reusing heat efficiently, less additional energy needs to be generated. This makes heat exchangers not only economically viable, but also a key component in making installations and processes more sustainable.

Depending on the application, various types of heat exchangers are available, such as plate heat exchangers (PHE, BPHE), plate & shell heat exchangers (PSHE), shell & tube heat exchangers (S&T) or air-cooled systems. The right choice depends on factors such as temperature, pressure, medium and degree of contamination. By using a well-designed heat exchanger, companies can improve their energy efficiency, reduce CO₂ emissions and optimise the performance of their plant. Particularly in a market where sustainability, heat recovery and energy saving are becoming increasingly important, the heat exchanger is a smart technical investment.

A technically well-chosen heat exchanger not only improves efficiency but also enhances the reliability of the entire process.
